About Wellesley, MA - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Wellesley, a town of about 28,000 residents in Norfolk County, Massachusetts, was settled in the 1630s as part of Dedham, and later became part of Needham. In 1881 the town, then known as West Needham, established itself as a separate entity under its present name.  Today it is best known as the home of Wellesley College and Babson College, and also for possessing one of the nation's highest concentrations of advanced degree holders. Wellesley is a commuter suburb of Boston, and has had regular train service to the state capital since 1833. The MBTA station at Wellesley Farms, which dates from 1890, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Wellesley has a typical New England climate, where winters are long and cold, averaging about 42 inches of snow each season. Spring and fall are colorful and lovely, while summers are seldom too hot. Special events take place year-round, kicking off in April with a multicultural celebration of spring festivals around the world hosted by the Slater International Center of Wellesley College. Wellesley's Wonderful Weekend in mid-May is a town-wide celebration featuring a parade, live music and fireworks, while the Massachusetts Horticultural Society hosts the Mass Marketplace Festival in August and the Festival of Trees which runs from November into December.
