About Sudbury, MA - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Sudbury, a town of about 17,500 residents in Middlesex County, Massachusetts, dates back to 1639, and its early history includes an Indian raid and local militia who participated in King Philip's War and the battles of Lexington and Concord during the American Revolution. Sudbury's most famous landmark, the Wayside Inn, opened in 1716 and claims to be the nation's oldest operating inn. It left its mark on literature as the setting for Henry Wadsworth Longfellow's Tales From a Wayside Inn, and its grounds were also the site of the historic Redstone School which served local children from 1791 through 1951. A girl who attended the school with her pet back in the early 19th century was said to be the inspiration for the nursery rhyme Mary Had a Little Lamb.

Sudbury winters are long and cold and the ground is often covered with snow, but summers are mild and spring and fall are lovely. The Subdury Fine Art and Fiddle Festival takes place each May on the grounds of the Wayside Inn. The Unitarian Universalist First Parish of Sudbury hosts a number of community events throughout the year, including a May Day celebration, a June picnic and a Harvest Fair each October.
