About Southborough, MA - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Southborough, also known as Southboro, is a town of almost 10,000 residents in Worcester County, Massachusetts. It includes the villages of Fayville, Southville and Cordaville. The town was settled in 1660 and incorporated in 1727, although part of the land was flooded in 1898 to create the Fayville Dam. In the late 19th century Southborough industry revolved around manufacturing products such as straw hats, boots and shoes, but today the community is primarily residential, and in 2009 was selected as one of CNN Money Magazine's 100 Best Places to Live. Southborough is home to two prestigious private schools, the Episcopal prep school St. Mark's, which was established in 1865, and the co-ed boarding Fay School, which has been in business since 1866.

Southborough winters are long, cold and frequently snowy, but spring and summer are warm and pleasant. Outdoor recreation can be found at Chestnut Hill Farm, which offers two miles of hiking trails through forests, wetlands and pastures. The Southborough Summer Nights festival is held in August, featuring live music, games, kids' activities and fireworks, while the town's Heritage Day celebration takes place on Columbus Day weekend and has a parade, pie-eating and pumpkin carving contests and a pumpkin lighting ceremony.
